In-Office Lab
Optix Optometry has always believed that technology, inventory and efficiency is the best way to improve patient care.
In 2005, we followed that mantra by adding a full service optical lab for faster turnaround times and better quality control. Our machines can create custom lenses with a total power range of approximately +10.00 to -17.00, even with extremely high levels of astigmatism.
Lens types
We can do it all in house. We have single vision lenses for near or distance vision, line bifocals, trifocals and even progressive "no line" lenses. If your lens isn't in stock, they can often shipped to us quickly.
Lens materials
Our lab can process all materials including regular plastic, Trivex/Trilogy, polycarbonate and even the newest hyper index 1.74 lenses. The only thing we can't do in office are lenses made of true glass.
